Tamerlane Ventures Inc. ("Tamerlane" or the "Company") (TSX-V: TAM) announced the filing by Global Resource Fund of an application in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on Friday, January 24, 2014 for termination of the proceedings of Tamerlane Ventures Inc. and Pine Point Holding Corp. under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (the "CCAA Proceedings") and issuance of a Receivership Order with respect to Tamerlane Ventures Inc. and Pine Point Holding Corp. The Court is scheduled to hear the application on Thursday afternoon, January 30, 2014.
