Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation is pleased to announce that Fernando Ragone has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer.
Fernando is an experienced leader, most recently for First Majestic Silver Corporation, where he focused on successful business improvement projects. Prior to his tenure with First Majestic Silver, Fernando led business-wide improvement activities at Primero Mining Corporation. Fernando spent 14 years with Glencore Xstrata, including four years as the chief financial officer for Glencore’s North American Zinc Business, with annual sales of $4.5 billion, including four operating mines, three smelters and exploration projects.
