Baffinland is a proud sponsor of the Recreation & Parks Association of Nunavut (RPAN), an organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and communities in Nunavut through healthy recreation. This year, Baffinland was the title sponsor of the Baffinland Iron Mines Recreation Leader of the Year award, given to an individual in Nunavut that demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities and embodies the values of community, teamwork, and healthy living. This year, the award was given to Terry Killiktee from Clyde River, Nunavut.
