Dominion Diamond Corporation today announced that at the special meeting of the shareholders of the company held earlier today, shareholders overwhelmingly approved the previously-announced plan of arrangement pursuant to which Northwest Acquisitions ULC, an entity affiliated with The Washington Companies, has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the company for US$14.25 per share in cash.
