NWT Mining Week - June 1-8, 2019

Every year, the Government of the Northwest Territories dedicates one week to celebrate the rich history and economic impact of NWT’s mining sector, an industry that directly employs over 3,000 people and spends about $800 million a year in the territory. Over the years, mining has generated about 30,000 jobs in the NWT.

The NWT & Nunavut Chamber of Mines is a supporter of these efforts, and we welcome the public to events taking place in Yellowknife to mark this special week.

All events are free and open to the public.
