10 August 2017

Canadian Zinc Corporation reports its interim financial results and development activities for the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2017. For the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2017, the company reported a net loss and comprehensive loss of $3,238,000 and $5,800,000, respectively, compared to a net loss and comprehensive loss of $866,000 and $1,643,000 for the same periods ended June 30, 2016. The higher expenditure in 2017 results from extensive work on the feasibility study for the Prairie Creek Mine and the ongoing environmental assessment and permitting for the all season road, which were not as high in the comparable periods.
