  • Information for Candidates in the 2019 NWT Election provides detail on 7 focus areas including:
  1. access to land

President of the Chamber of Mines, Gary Vivian said: “Economists from the Conference Board of Canada continue to forecast challenging economic times because existing mines are maturing. We are hopeful candidates will take advantage of our guides to help them build an economic plan to strengthen the minerals industry and in so doing, the entire NWT economy. We also encourage the general public to review the documents, and to ask their candidates to help.”
