REMINDER: GEOSCIENCE FORUM EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

Dear Colleagues,

November is fast approaching and with it the 42nd annual Yellowknife Geoscience Forum scheduled for November 25-27.

All attendees, including presenters, must register for the Forum, via the Chamber of Mine’s website at http://www.geoscienceforum.com/registration. Early Bird (cheaper) registration is available up to and including October 31, 2014.

For those wishing to present, the abstract submission deadline for the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum is two weeks away, closing October 26, 2014.  Abstracts are to be submitted online, through this website: http://www.nwtgeoscience.ca/forum/

Please submit abstracts by October 26, so that we can build the schedule of presentations. The online submission website will not accept abstracts after this date. October 26th will also be the last day for any changes to abstracts before compiling the 2014 Yellowknife Geoscience Abstract Volume.

Authors wanting to submit a poster have to choose the Session called Poster, regardless of poster topic.

This year's technical program will include a three-day talk session on Geoscience and Mineral Exploration in the NWT and Nunavut. Presentations that focus on the results of recent geoscience research and exploration activities are welcomed.

Check out the four workshops, three of which are free.  You do not need to register for the conference to attend the workshops, but you must still register for them using the same registration process.

Please forward this email to your colleagues who may not have received the first call for abstracts.  Other sessions can be viewed online.

We look forward to seeing you in Yellowknife!
