Media

Media personnel are invited to attend the Geoscience Forum and will be given complimentary passes which will give them access to the technical talks, poster sessions, and the trade show. When conducting an interview, members of the media are requested to advise delegates that they are with the media!

Guidelines

Media attending the Geoscience Forum are requested to follow these guidelines:

No recording in theatres or off the sound board without permission from the author/speaker
No camera lights or flashes in theatres during talks
No interviews without telling the interviewee that you are with the media
Disruptive behaviour will result in the journalist being asked to leave (eg. standing next to the podium and sticking a microphone in front of the speaker)
